Join our close-knit and supportive training group and complete a 5K this fall!
It's the most fun, family-friendly way to start running after baby!
Goal Race = Jingle Bell Run 5K (Dec 3rd in Raleigh) 
ENROLL IN RUNNING CLUB- 5K TRAINING

Running Club- 5K Training Includes:

  • 7 weeks of bi-weekly coached training runs (attend 1 or both)
  • Weekly training plan & guidance tailored for your ability level (1-3 additional runs/week completed on your own)
  • Weekly educational "clinics" on topics like: running form, nutrition, core workouts, strength training, injury prevention, increasing speed & distance, and choosing the right shoes
  • Private online Facebook group for motivation and discussion with your fellow Running Club runners
  • Supportive atmosphere with other moms (& dads) working towards a shared goal!
Strollers are welcome (but optional) during our training runs and the race. Dads are welcome too (please contact us about a discounted couples rate if Dad would like to participate in the program).

  • Start date: Oct 17th
  • Race date: Dec 3rd @9am- the Jingle Bell Run 5K (race registration fees not included)
  • Training runs: Tuesdays (9:30am) & Saturdays (9am) at Shelley Lake. You are not required to attend both coaching sessions.
  • Cost: $75*
