Years in the making, the sweeping, shining art installation Pathway of Progress: Celebrating Georgia Tech Women, located in the heart of campus near the John Lewis Student Center, opened on Saturday, March 8. 

The structure contains nearly 3,000 mirrored tiles, each of which will one day tell the story of Tech alumnae, students, faculty, and staff who made a lasting impact — at the Institute, in their field, and in the world. 

Adam Steinberg, the Pratt & Whitney Chair in the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering, has been appointed as the new secretary of the faculty.

From noon EST on March 11, 2025, to noon EST on March 12, 2025, the whole Tech community will come together to support Georgia Tech. For 24 hours, Yellow Jackets from far and wide will show their Georgia Tech pride while supporting vital scholarships, providing funds for student needs, and helping to enhance student-focused programs.

Georgia Tech’s Space Exploration and Analysis Laboratory (SEAL) has developed new algorithms that are on the Moon, as part of the Intuitive Machine’s IM-2 mission. The mission was featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
