Ward 15 Ward Forums and
School Council Round Tables

for the 2019/2020 school year

As the trustee for our community of schools I regularly hold events that share information and provide opportunities for active parents to learn and share from each other. These events are called "Ward Forums".

For those who have attended a ward forum in the past, this year we will be doing things a bit differently. We'll have three general ward forums of broad interest to all, from primary all the way through to high school, interspersed by three School Council Chair roundtables... focused in on information, idea-sharing, skills-building and problem-solving for Councils. Open to Chairs or Council designates only.

Ward Forum - School Space

Thursday October 17th, 2019, 6:30-8:30 pm

Wilkinson Public School Library, 53 Donlands Ave, Toronto, ON

Andrew Gowdy from TDSB Planning will review with us how space in our schools is allocated, what the data tells us about our schools here in Toronto-Danforth, what it means when a school is full, what happens when a school closes, and what terms like utilization rate, PARC, PART, and boundary-change review mean.
