March 2017
Dear PSA Members,
As our wet winter keeps us cool, PSA stays hot for a highly creative month of March. From planning to “party” with peacocks in the park to exhibiting peacock-art in the Arboretum Library gives us a wide feather of colorful activities. The March 10th evening in the Central Library gives us a unique venue of attracting clients and showing off our finished work. Like to work from a life model in a library? We will be a big part of PASADENA ARTNIGHT! See the Exhibitions schedule for important details.
Much appreciation for our Director of Exhibitions, Larry Rodgers, for all his recent work keeping PSA engaged in new adventures. Send Larry your THANKS!!
I would like to two agendas this year: #1 STRONGER FOCUS on Exhibitions and #2 FOCUS on Professional Development (special program and salons). We have agreed with Stephen Wagner to present a series of 6 presentations. His next presentation is March 16th, 6:45pm at WCC in Pasadena:

# 1 Last month I asked for someone to help me plan our Salons, and I‘ve yet to hear confirmation from someone. Salons are a valuable time for artists to hang out and share what’s going on a more personal level of expression and sharing of your art. It’s both creative and reflective, and provocative. Is there anyone within PSA who is interested in helping plan a monthly Salon? Email me if you are interested.
One of my organizational goals for PSA is to help understand our role as community leaders: through fine art our communities will be richer, that people will be inspired, that cooperation will tear down walls, not build them, that hearts will open through art. Cheers, Victor Picou, PSA President
