International Career Week Keynote: Judy Shen Filerman

Are you an international student seeking an internship or job here in the U.S.? Judy Shen-Filerman will teach you how to know your Best Self in order to help you catalyze your career journey. Learn more about your role as “culture crossers” (women, persons of color, first-gen and global professionals) and embrace your Best Self Identity in order to effectively decode and navigate the U.S. workplace culture - when you do, you will leverage your talent and contribute mightily to your team and future organization.

Collaborate with St. Louis small businesses on semester-long consulting projects. Participants work in teams to address the company's obstacles and make actionable recommendations that can immediately impact their bottom line.

- Timing: Fall & Spring Semester Course (14 weeks)
- Credits: 3
- Past clients have included: Eyeseeme African American Children's Bookstore, Corner 17, Honeymoon Chocolates, The Fattened Caf and Fennel Cooking Studio

You can participate in more than one CEL program! |
Last year, 117 students participated in more than one CEL program, and you can too! Not only can you participate in more than one program, you can also repeat the same program. Since clients change semester to semester, your experience will be different each time.

Hurray Indeed! As reported by KSDK, SBI Client, Pop Pop Hurray! was chosen by Schnuck Markets to participate in its business accelerator program, Schnucks Springboard. As part of this program, Pop Pop Hurray! will have their products in certain Schnucks stores in 2025.
