Recreational Vehicle Storage |
|
|
Many in the RVR community own all sorts of recreation vehicles and outdoor toys. We are noticing more and more of these types of vehicles parked in RVR neighborhoods in recent weeks.
As a kind reminder, the Second Amendment to the RVR Master Declaration, Section 3.16, Vehicle Parking, Storage, Operation, and Repair states: “No boats, trailers, buses, motor homes, campers (on or off supporting vehicles), motorcycles, snowmobiles, recreational vehicles, golf carts, trucks, industrial or commercial vehicles (both cabs or trailers), abandoned or inoperable vehicles, or any other similar vehicles shall be parked or stored in or upon the Master Common Areas or upon a Lot or Unit except for temporary loading and unloading during daylight hours…”
We ask that those who are out of compliance to please remedy this by finding another location to store your recreational vehicle. Thank you for your coopertaion!

This delightful and powerful play helps preschool and elementary students recognize and explore the strong emotions they sometimes experience.
Two everyday students are guided by an omniscient host as their emotions become actual monster puppets that illustrate how feelings can sometimes be bigger than we are. As they journey through a typical school day, the host teaches them and the audience three specific strategies for taming these monsters and learning what to do when we feel overcome by anger, fear, jealousy, or any other powerful emotion. Monster in Me is a play that was developed to have a sustained effort to support students' social-emotional growth through high-quality theatre.

Crystal River Restoration Project
|
The Crystal River Restoration Project has resumed its work this spring. Remaining work includes the interpretive signage design and installation, native plantings and temporary irrigation work. Signage is being designed and will be installed this fall. The team has deferred planting and irrigation work to this spring to give the plants the best opportunity to successfully establish.
Homeowners can expect work to take place through April 12.
*Please note the park will be closed as portions of the work is initiated. No major traffic disruptions are anticipated.

Carbondale's Spring Clean Up and Recycling Day is April 13th. We tend to think of getting rid of old or broken electronics, tires, batteries, and bulbs. But textiles are also accepted for recycling, as long as they are bagged. Textiles can be clothing, towels, sheets, curtains, and rugs (with no rubber backing). Any textile, in any condition, can be recycled. These are sent to a facility in Denver where they are cleaned and sorted. The fibers are then broken down and mostly reused for stuffing items like dog beds or furniture. The EPA estimates that clothing and household textiles make up 5.2% of the waste in our landfills. So do some Spring cleaning and get rid of unwanted textiles the right way. More information about the Spring Clean Up event can be found here: 2024 Spring Clean-up Day cost poster.pdf (revize.com)
