Health and Safety on Campus
The fall semester starts Monday, and for those who will be on campus for the limited number of in-person classes, the following information will be vital as you navigate your return to CSUDH:
Follow Guidelines
The university has implemented a number of protocols to protect the health and safety of the campus community and created a signage program to inform anyone who has to be on campus of the protocols in place. Keep an eye out for these new signs in classrooms, outside of bathrooms, stairwells, elevators, and on walkways, and please follow the instructions to help keep everyone safe.
Wear Face Coverings
All visitors to campus are required to wear face masks or coverings at all times. Neck gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable forms of face coverings. The university will have face masks available for those on campus this semester who need one. Requests for masks can be submitted to Facilities Work Control:
Don't Linger
In compliance with physical distancing guidelines and to maintain a reduced campus population, students, faculty, and staff are asked not to stay on campus longer than necessary. Once your class or assignment is complete, please leave campus promptly.
COVID-19 Safety Training for Students
Before visiting campus, all students are required to view the safety training video that has been assigned in Blackboard through your classes. It outlines the measures that CSUDH is taking to slow the spread of COVID and details the protocols that all visitors must follow while on campus.
