Klotsche Center Annex Building Project Notice

Neighbors, please see the link below regarding the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed, student segregated fee funded Klotsche Center Annex Addition project.  Please consider submitting comments by December 21, 2020. Detailed instructions are contained in the letter.
Additionally, please attend the Draft EIA virtual public meeting in January 2021. Additional details about the meeting will follow via this newsletter.

Free, Rapid COVID-19 Tests Available to Community Members at UW-Milwaukee

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin System and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is providung community members with rapid-results COVID-19 tests in the Student Union. Testing has been extended through December 22, 2020.

Winterim Courses Online

Winterim 2021 courses will be primarily online. For Winterim, rates for instructional technology fees for hybrid and online offerings will remain at Fall 2020 levels. As with typical Winterim sessions, no segregated fees will be charged.

Student Emergency Grants

Consider donating to students affected financially by the coronavirus pandemic through UWM's Student Emergency Grant fund via the UWM Foundation. Students can use this fund for academic expenses, child care, food and housing. Go online, click "Give Now" and select where you want to give. The UWM Food Pantry has a COVID-19 Amazon wishlist for high-need items. You can order online and have things delivered to the Food Pantry directly. You can also donate to the Food Pantry through the UWM Foundation.
