Students and recent alumni are invited to learn more about fellowships that fund graduate study abroad at this info session that will familiarize you with the different awards, application processes, and best practices for constructing a compeitive application. DEADLINE: march 31!1000 Dreams Scholarship
One-time educational assistance of up to $1,000 for women currently enrolled in a US university. This scholarship is not to fund tuition. The intention is to provide access to educational opportunities beyond tuition, such as educational conferences, instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits, graduate exam application fees, or textbooks. DEADLINE: April 1!Rachel Carson Council Fellowship Program
Designed to identify students with a passion for environmental education, organizing, and advocacy and provide them with training in DC, mentorship from RCC environmental staff, and financial support to do the valuable work they care about and become life-long advocates for the environment. Fellows also have the opportunity to publish and speak on behalf of the Council. $2,000 stipend provided. Read more.

DEADLINE: APRIL 3!Internships at the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation
The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes understanding and cooperation between Asia and the United States, seeks two interns for Summer 2024 in DC. Interns are paid at $17.50/hour and require a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week. All applicants must have authorization to work in the US. Proficiency in Japanese or Korean is a plus. The Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe seeks candidates for its Max Kampelman Fellowship. The program is open to undergraduates and recent undergraduates with previous internship experience. Fellows work in political and military affairs, economic and environmental affairs, or on respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.These paid fellowships last three months in DC, with fellows expected to work 30 hours per week. Deadline: april 14Rainbow Youth ScholarshipThe Los Angeles LGBT Center's Rainbow Youth Scholarship provides scholarship funding to LGBTQ+ youth engaged in higher education. This scholarship fund was created to assist youth in reaching their career and educational aspirations and was founded on the belief that all young people are deserving of a supportive educational experience. Scholarships are intended for youth who would otherwise be unable to afford college tuition, books and related expenses. Eligible applicants include people who will be attending a college or university for their undergraduate degree, as well as those enrolled in an accredited training program. The Comcast NBCUniversal & Telemundo Media Scholarships will be awarded to the best applicants, while the amount will depend on financial need. Comcast NBCUniversal & Telemundo aims to support careers in media and entertainment. Eligible applicants include people who will be attending a college, university or accredited training program in media including but not limited to: advertising, directing, radio, writing, info tech, broadcasting, digital media, graphic design, website development, journalism, communications, and public relations. Deadline: april 15NCJW|LA traditional ScholarshipsThe National Council of Jewish Women | Los Angeles Scholarship Program is available for women in a variety of subject matter disciplines, as well as support for non-traditional students in achieving their academic goals. Awards are based on a combination of academic merit and financial need. Applicants must live and attend school in LA County and must not be graduating in Spring 2024. Fill out one application to potentially qualify for one of 10 awards, including support for parents, LGBTQIA+, current educators, and nursing and healthcare. Read more.

The Diverse International Women of Color Study Abroad Scholarship is intended to assist women of color who are exceptional in their studies and in need of financial assistance to study abroad. Deadline: april 14Pride in Tech ScholarshipAngel City FC & CLEAR are proud to provide a partial scholarship for a student pursuing education toward a career in software engineering, computer science, product management and design, user experience (UX) design and research, and related fields. Eligible undergraduate majors include but are not limited to: engineering, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, computer programming, and engineering technology. Students accepted into an in-person or online coding or programming bootcamp—those offered by Fullstack Academy (including the Grace Hopper Program), App Academy, and FlatIron School, for example—are also eligible to apply. Deadline: april 25National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship
NHSC provides scholarships to students pursuing professional degrees as primary care providers (physician, physician assistant, dentist, nurse practitioner, or nurse-midwife) in exchange for their commitment to serve in high-need, underserved communities. The scholarship includes tax-free payment of tuition, required fees, other reasonable educational costs, and a taxable monthly living stipend. After completion of graduation/training, recipients fulfill their service commitment at one of more than 16,000 NHSC-approved sites throughout the nation and its territories. Each scholar serves for a minimum of two years and receives one year of financial support (up to four years) for each year of service. APSIA is looking for our summer International Communication and Marketing Intern. The internship can be completed from any location, but candidates must be eligible to work in the US and have some availability on ET business hours. Exact schedule is highly flexible. Interns receive a $500 stipend per term and a chance to build their portfolio of website, social media, video, and other content to reach relevant audiences around the world. Read more.

The fund honors the memory of Sue Cruz, a devoted homemaker and mother of six who always found time to attend college classes in pursuit of her ultimate goal: becoming a teacher.
