JAX Nathan Shock Center Pilot Projects Awards
Deadline: December 15, 2023
The JAX Nathan Shock Center is accepting applications for Pilot Research Projects in the biology of aging utilizing aged C57BL6/J and UM-HET3 mice (6-24 months of age). Prior consultation with the Director of the Development Core, Ron Korstanje, is strongly advised. Submit the cover letter and application in PDF or Word format to martha.abbott@jax.org.

The UW NSC includes Core Services for application of AI methodology to Shock Center Pilot Project data, under the supervision of Dr. Su-In Lee, an expert in this technology.

UAB NSC Exploratory Funds

The UAB NSC is accepting monthly requests for Exploratory Funds for new small projects ($1,000-10,000 each) with a focus on the mechanistic hallmarks and/or energetics of aging. For more information and to apply, visit the UAB NSC website here.
