While the total solar eclipse was highly anticipated- the bi-annual cable sun outages are not.  Cable sun outages happen when the energy from the sun overpowers the signal from communications satellites every fall and spring.  Sun outages will begin toward the end of September and last for a few weeks.  Learn more at hcc.net/blog.

On September 28, The Olympic Channel will replace Chiller on channel 345.  The Olympic Channel is a joint venture between NBCU, the International Olympic Committee and the US Olympic Committee. The programming will include live Olympic sporting events, original series, documentaries, interviews with Olympic athletes and archival content.
