Using technology in the classroom is a great way to improve student engagement. However, when you start your teaching career, adding more bells, whistles, and the latest pedagogical tech may feel overwhelming. This seminar will walk participants through easy ways to use technology to increase student engagement, minus the headaches that can come with overly complicated tools and complex implementation. This is tech you can try out with your students tomorrow! Look for a Zoom link to come.

You are cordially invited to Baylor University’s Advent celebration featuring a reflection by Beth Moore. This service of prayers and songs will spotlight a new hymn with lyrics by English poet Malcolm Guite and music composed by our own Carlos Colón. We will read Advent Scriptures, pray together, and sing hymns and chants accompanied by a choir and a small orchestra. The first service begins at 3:30 pm, and the second at 5:00 pm.

Sweater weather, hot chocolate, roaring fires, snowfall (sometimes, at least). Christmas season is unquestionably the most wonderful time of the year — and at Baylor, the most wonderful time of the year officially begins with Christmas on 5th Street.

The Graduate School's residential chaplain, Kyle Perry, is seeking students who would like to be involved forming faith-based programming in their communities around the Graduate School. If you are interested in exploring starting a bible study or prayer group in your community, please fill out this form so Kyle can connect with you. Next semester's goals include growing interfaith programming. If you are currently involved in some sort of programming, please fill the form out as well so that Kyle can form a list of current programming.
