The Beacons had a "Wickedly" good time last Thursday; beginning with lunch at the Arcade Restaurant, (the oldest cafe in Memphis), catching the matinee of a Broadway touring show at the Orpheum Theater, then ending the day with the quintessential Memphis experience: dinner at the Rendezvous! Today we enjoyed each other's company during a brunch in The Garden. Next month? We begin an 8-week class on balance and fall-prevention. Interested in keeping up with the activities of this group?

Church-Wide Clean-Up

We do best the things we do together!
Come pitch in with chores such as blowing leaves off the pathways at the stations of the cross, clearing away limbs and pinecones, and cleaning our playground area. Inside, we need some furniture polished and some lightbulbs replaced. Bring gloves and perhaps a few small tools, (rakes, wheelbarrows, sponges, rags), to help us spruce up our beautiful campus for our spring activities! Saturday, March 24th, 8:00 am - Noon

LENTEN CHALLENGE
This year, our goal is to provide enough books for East Flora Elementary School to allow EVERY CHILD to have age-appropriate, interesting books to read in their classroom and in their homes.

We are well on the way!

The Principal and Librarian of East Flora Elementary School were THRILLED with our first delivery of books!
We have three more weeks to complete this challenge! Please donate new or gently-read books suitable for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade to this effort.

Easter Egg Hunt!

All children through 3rd grade are invited to join us on
Sunday, March 25th at 3:00 pm
for an Easter Egg Hunt and activities! Please bring 12 treat-filled eggs in a bag labeled with your child's name and age anytime between now and the morning of the egg hunt. (There'll be collection bins in each foyer.) Don't forget your camera to capture some pictures with the Easter Bunny!

4th and 5th graders won't be left out!
We have another egg hunt just for you!
Sunday, March 25th from 5 - 6:30 pm
In addition to games and activities, there'll be pizza and ice cream sundaes for dinner!
