Global Health Case Competition: Register now until Jan 29
The VIGH Student Advisory Council would like to invite you to participate in the 2017 Global Health Case Competition! 
The goal of the case competition is to promote critical analysis and thoughtful collaboration among undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from across Vanderbilt University. Students from a variety of disciplines will form teams to develop and propose feasible and innovative solutions to a real-life global health case. Winners will represent Vanderbilt University at the International Global Health Case Competition held at Emory University. More information and to register (link)
Master of Public Health Practicum Colloquium 
January 27, 11:30am - 1:30pm
The colloquium provides MPH students an opportunity to present their practicum experiences in a conference-like setting. Students will receive feedback from faculty and other graduate students and practice their presentation skills. All students will present posters and, in addition, two students will be selected to give oral presentations. Funding your Global Health Experience
Applications are due February 1

Frist Global Health Leaders Program is funded by Hope Through Healing Hands, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, and provides students, residents, and fellows in health professions with the opportunity to serve and train in underserved communities around the world. (link)

Overall Family Fellowship for International Research is sponsored by Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics. It provides support for Vanderbilt medical and nursing students to gain experience and training in a global health setting. (link)

Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) Summer Awards Programs are available to Vanderbilt students pursuing research projects in Latin America. (link)
