Villanova’s Fall Semester begins this month, and we are excited to welcome our newest Wildcats to campus starting with Move‑In Day on Wednesday, August 20th. New Student Orientation will take place from Thursday, August 21st, through Sunday, August 24th.
Move‑In Day and New Student Orientation are special traditions for our campus community and their families, bringing plenty of energy and excitement to Villanova. As the academic year begins, we want to remind our neighbors of upcoming campus activities that may affect vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the areas surrounding our Main Campus.

Temporary Road Closures for Wednesday, August 20th |
Please note that Move-In Day for incoming first-year residential students will take place on Wednesday, August 20th, and will necessitate parking lot and road closures. Villanova University's Department of Public Safety will work with Radnor Township Police Department on traffic management throughout the day.
Most notably, Ithan Avenue will be closed from County Line Road (near the rear of the M-1 garage/Davis Center) to Aldwyn Lane (just past the entrance to South Campus residence halls).
Please anticipate that Ithan Avenue will be closed from approximately 8:00AM until 5:00PM.

Work on our Cabrini Campus is ongoing. Activity on the Cabrini Campus includes construction, landscaping, tree maintenance, and removal.
Due to the ongoing activity, be advised that the Cabrini Campus is closed. For our neighbors' safety, we ask that neighbors refrain from walking or driving through campus during this time. We are excited to welcome our community back to campus in the Fall of 2026.
Should you have any questions, please reach out to Hally Ammons, Assistant Director for Government & Community Relations, at hally.ammons@villanova.edu.
