Lunch 'n' Learn: Ten Easy Steps to Proposing a Global Miami Course
Monday, October 21, 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
This seminar is designed to help faculty propose an existing or new course for one or more of the Global Miami Plan (GMP) designations.
This award was established by Miami alumnus E. Phillips Knox, a 1968 graduate, to recognize creative, innovative, and engaging teaching methods at the undergraduate level.

Office of Research for Undergraduates Announces October Deadlines for Three Undergraduate Research Opportunities (1) The URA program provides Miami undergraduates a faculty-mentored experience in developing grant applications. (2) DUOS engages a graduate and an undergraduate student to conduct a joint project mentored by a faculty member in a Ph.D.-granting department. (3) IDEA awards provide student teams an opportunity to collaborate with faculty across disciplinary boundaries, and to intentionally apply knowledge from different fields.
