Greetings, Volunteers!

Happy New Year, I can't believe it is already 2024! We've got some great volunteer opportunities available this month, scroll down to check them out. 😊

To sign up for an event this month and receive a month of free Garbage to Garden service, RSVP by email and we will help answer any questions you may have. Then simply send confirmation of your volunteer hours to volunteer@garbagetogarden.org to receive credit.

In partnership with the City of Portland, we are working to promote composting efforts across Portland. We will be leading street teams to help distribute door hangers. 

Thursday, January 11th 9 - 11.

The Age-Friendly Portland Steering Committee is looking for volunteers to shovel snow for elderly neighbors. Please reach out to Linda at lsw@portlandmaine.gov to participate!
