In 2007, the Parisian premium tea brand Kusmi Tea revolutionized the tea market with its first wellness teas. Now everything will be organic! The popular Expure trilogy is now available in new cans and with ingredients from organic farming.

Mate and green tea are the basis of this fresh, fruity and invigorating wellness tea, the effect of which is enhanced by the spicy notes of lemon and lemongrass. Like all new teas from Kusmi Tea, this Expure is also certified with the AB seal and the European organic seal.

One of the products in this range, Expure Addict Bio, contains a high percentage of Rooibos tea, which helps to give it a naturally sweet taste.

Microtea, a brand developed by Waterdrop, has created a new instant Rooibos tea product which they call “Royal Rooibos”.

On their website, they describe the flavour of this product as sweet - a perfect combination of honeybush and Rooibos, which creates a soft, caramel feel in the mouth.

To enjoy this drink, one only needs to add hot water, stir and sip.

In Las Vegas, an international food show was recently hosted and some 800 international exhibitors attended to showcase their products. Among the different products on display were Rooibos shortbread cookies, which attendees view as one of the top trends to watch out for in 2022.

The cookies come from a South African company that took part in the event. The event specifically looked at exciting new developments in the food industry.

Retinol is the 'it' ingredient when it comes to skincare right now - and for good reason. Retinol is also known as Vitamin A and it’s part of a larger group known as retinoids. There are many prescription and over-the-counter options, though to keep things simple, they all work essentially the same way.

Many skincare products are, however, being manufactured not just with retinol as the main ingredient, but also with Rooibos. This is being done for the simple reason that Rooibos ads beneficial antioxidants to skincare products, which further enhances the anti-aging properties of these products.
