Each year every United Methodist local church receives an Advisory Form from the MS Conference office that must be completed by the Leadership Board describing the health and vitality of the church and outlining future steps we are seeking to accomplish. We have had some wonderful discussions around these themes from our Mission and Ministry times apart. These set aside times are ways for all members to come together and be in conversation about the vision of our church, the challenges we face and our needs for improvement. If you miss these opportunities, we still want your feedback. Our next Mission and Ministry time apart is Saturday, January 18, 2025.
We have an elected Leadership Board who considers and shares as a group, all administrative areas concerning our church and will work together to complete the Advisory Form. We are your voice and we want and need your feedback. If you have something you would like us to consider you may speak to any of the Board members or you can email our Board Chair Darlene Roberts or Lay Leader Alan Branson directly.
As a way for us to practice our call to intentional community we ask that you sign your name to any written correspondence and understand that any conversation you have with a Board member will be shared with the entire Board and pastoral staff.
Thank you for your trust in us as our call to serve our church as your Leadership Board.
Darlene Roberts, Alan Branson, Florence Cooper, Bobby Stephenson,
Edye Hambleton, Drew Pruett, Bob Chunn, Christine Morrison, Matthew Kirk, Chris Gibbs, Jody Nichols, and Kitty Johnson.

Bring a blanket or chair and invite a friend. Parents of children 5th grade and under must remain with their children. Choir friends, we know you will be practicing so you will be excused (and we can't wait for the Cantata!). Check the newsletter in the coming weeks to see how you can aid with food.

'Tis the season to be practicing for our Christmas worship services!
We'll continue to practice at 9:30 am in the Garden Room Sunday. Kids ages 3 through 5th grade are learning songs with our Music Director, David White, for the Children's Christmas service on Dec. 8 and to join the adults for the choir cantata on Dec. 15.
After our singing time, the children will move into age-appropriate Sunday School classes. We always need volunteers to aid with our kids ministry.
To sign up to teach an individual class one Sunday, *click here
or contact Haven to be added to a rotation.
It's time to update your child's yearly contact information. This helps us keep the most updated and accurate information for your child. Please click the link here to fill out your child's form.
*All volunteers must submit a background check before volunteering with children and youth.
