Exciting Ministry Support Opportunity!
Last week's mission planning meeting was incredibly powerful.  As a church, we have an amazing variety of ways to focus on what God is calling us to be and to do; one (or more!) will certainly touch your heart. In each Wednesday newsletter, we will feature opportunities to share God's love with others - jump in where you hear the cry of those in need!
First up is a new ministry that will help fund all the others.
Haley Dollarhide loves to serve others with her kitchen skills. She is ready to start spending Mondays in our church kitchen preparing casseroles which will be available for pick-up on Tuesday afternoons.  ALL THE PROFITS FROM THIS MINISTRY WILL GO TOWARDS FUNDING THE MISSIONS OF PHUMC.  She has already enlisted help from Kari Miller and other church members.  Are you interested in helping with food preparation, cooking and assembly?  Contact Haley.  Interested in supporting missions by ordering a delicious main dish? (Just think, dinner could be ready- for you or for friends in need!  Bonus: everything freezes well.)

Ladies Night Out for all Parkway Hills Women!
Meet us for dinner at Georgia Blue next Wednesday, July 27th, at 6:30 pm
It seems like summer just started, but it is already time to prepare for back-to-school!  Promotion Sunday is just around the corner.  Save August 7th as the day children will move up to their next SS class, meet their new teachers, and celebrate at PUMP IT UP!  (Full details next week.)
Yesterday, a group of youth from PHUMC enjoyed reading to children at MadCAAP's Summer Enrichment program. As more volunteers went than were needed, a few split off to work in the food pantry. (Did you know that MadCAAP supplies about 90 families with a food box every week?)  They were critically low on several items.  Next time you are at the grocery, please consider picking up a few of these items for their food pantry. Thanks.
Brandon Jones and Bruce Case just wrapped up this week's radio show, which will be broadcast on Sunday at 8:00 am, on WYAB 103.9 FM.  Tune in!
