DASA Recognizes 2026 Pride of the Wolfpack Award Winners

At last week’s DASA Fall Kickoff event, almost 30 DASA employees were formally nominated by their colleagues for a Pride of the Wolfpack award to honor their contributions to the division and their commitment to upholding university values.

• Grab your picnic blanket and head to the Gregg Museum front lawn on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. for a free outdoor concert presented by NC State LIVE with local Piedmont blues guitarist, Lakota John. Registration is required.
• The African-American Cultural Center invites the NC State community to Declaration Day, a celebration of the center’s 55 years of impact, on Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon in Witherspoon Student Center. The center also invites the community to its annual Harambee! event, Sept. 25 from 2-5 p.m. on Harris Field.
• Share with your students: The Housing Fair for all students is Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Stafford Commons.
• NC State is ranked top 10 in the Princeton Review’s annual ranking of the nation’s best colleges.

• This season, University Theatre brings classic stories to new life with Metamorphoses, Spring Awakening and Sense and Sensibility. You can also enjoy the 2026 Creative Artist Award winning comedy, The Color of Death written by NC State student Silas Davis. Bundle and save up to 20% off the regular season pricing through Oct. 11. • The Before We Knew Better exhibit celebrating the work of Lamar Whidbee and Chris Facey is open through Sept. 25 in the African-American Cultural Center’s art gallery.
• To support campus-wide digital accessibility efforts, the accessibility hub has been updated with more robust resources and training information.
