From the Dean

For the college, 2020 has had an auspicious beginning. Several of our faculty are being recognized nationally by their professional organizations, one of our researchers is engaged in a project that will strengthen Clemson’s ties with Brookhaven National Laboratory and an alumna is a key player in Artemis, NASA’s 2024 directive that will return astronauts to the moon once again.

All of these accolades and activities reflect the active, rich academic and research environment we’ve established in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. It is attracting students from across the country, who are seeking an exciting, nurturing academic experience that is educating the engineers and scientists of tomorrow. Watch one of our student recruitment videos featuring President Clements, Dabo Swinney and Tony Elliott here.

I wish you all the best for a prosperous, productive new year.
