UO EVENTS
  • Tonight at Ducks After Dark, watch One of Them Days starring SZA and Keke Palmer at 8:00 p.m. in the Redwood Auditorium (214 EMU). Soda and popcorn provided.
  • Wander through the vendors and tables at the ASUO Street Faire for food and some other surprising finds. The street faire will be on 13th Avenue on Wednesday, May 7, and Thursday, May 8, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and Friday, May 9, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Have expired or no longer needed medications? Dispose of them safely at the prescription drug take back event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8. Look for the Substance Abuse Prevention and Education team’s table at the ASUO Street Faire. For any questions, email sape@uoregon.edu.
  • Stop by Pilipino Culture Night, a celebration full of delicious catered food, raffles, games, and performances that showcase the richness and diversity of the Filipino experience. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, in the EMU Ballroom. Tickets are $4 for UO students.
  • Oregon basketball alums and WNBA champions Sabrina Ionescu and Nyara Sabally will make their on-court return to Matthew Knight Arena on Monday, May 12, at 7:00 p.m. at the WNBA preseason game. Tickets are on sale now.
  • Get involved during Bike Month and join group rides, take advantage of free repairs, and find other events throughout May.
NOTEWORTHY
  • Graduating students—both undergraduate and graduate students—can register to participate in an identity-based graduation celebration before Monday, May 19, at 11:59 p.m.
  • Summer registration opens Monday, May 5. Get your priority registration time in DuckWeb by navigating to “Student Menu,” then “Registration Menu,” and finally “Check Registration Eligibility.”
  • Clear any holds you may have on your record so you can be able to register. Common holds are for past due accounts. Check DuckWeb (“Student Menu,” then “View Holds”) and you will see the office contact information to resolve the hold.
  • 5,687 students qualified for the Dean's List for winter term 2025. Go Ducks!

HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • The Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Campus Walk will have interactive booths, therapy goats, and free Sy's New York Pizza and Voodoo Doughnuts after the walk. Check-in opens at 10:00 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, at the EMU Green with the walk immediately following.
  • The Healthy Minds Study is open through May 16 to randomly selected students. If you received an email to take the survey, please take the time and help the UO improve their mental health programs and services.
