Winter Greeting and Federal Funding Response |
We'd like to start off by offering a warm hello to offset the chilly days we've been experiencing recently! Now that the shortest days of the season are behind us, we're looking forward to a new season of research and growth.
Additionally, we want to reiterate the messaging sent out from the Indiana CTSI Co-Directors in a recent email regarding federal funding:
"We know you are aware of news stories and other reports of funding disruptions at the federal level, some of which involve the NIH...
We want to assure you that the Indiana CTSI's funding is secure, our normal activities should continue, and we, and Indiana University, have no reason to believe that we are violating any recently issued executive orders.
We are closely monitoring new developments and will share information and resources with you as they become available...
As always, we are beyond grateful for your contributions to the Indiana CTSI. We are confident that, together, we will get through this confusing and uncertain time."
We remain committed to providing you with the resources you need to succeed, and we are here to support you as we move forward together.
Sincerely,
Melanie DeFord, Deputy Director and Assistant Vice President for Research
Jessica Brookshire, Notre Dame Co-Navigator of the Indiana CTSI
Prakash Nallathamby, Notre Dame Co-Navigator of the Indiana CTSI
