The Café Justo (Just Coffee) Cooperative, is a faith-based initiative in Agua Prieta, Sonora. All revenues go to the Cooperative, enabling growers to remain on their ancestral lands rather than migrate to the US.
*New price:  Just as coffee prices have risen everywhere else, Café Justo has had to raise their price as well. In order to cover the higher cost of the coffee and shipping, one pound bags are now $15 each.

Home Town Mission Week

The Youth had Home Town mission week and visited a few of our favorite missions AND people. Ministries such as Room In The Inn, Preston Taylor, Oasis Center and St. Lukes were all helped by our Youth. They learned about each ministry and fisinshed off the week baking cookies for the staff.

The Youth and a team of adult volunteers, collected fresh fruit and veggies for Crowded Table families.

THANK YOU to all of you who donated water bottles to our first Hands On Mission mini-grant receipant, Kate Kramer.

On Sunday, Kate's class decorated 50 tote bags and filled them with supplies to be given out to homeless people around Nashville. Look for them in the Parlor on Sunday, July 5, if you would like to take a bag and share with someone in our community.

Have an idea for a mini-grant? Please contact Janet Kuhn.
Westminster has started our own community garden! A group of volunteers gathered this past weekend to continue to move over 30 yards of soil and compost into raised beds built out by a FaithWorks team. They also got the mulch spread in between the garden beds.
In the next few weeks, the garden will come alive as we plant flowers for pollinators and various vegetables.
Please contact Will Wellman, wwellman@nashvillewpc.org, if you'd like to get involved.

We have recently been getting a lot of emails about donating furniture and belongings to our Home Together Nashville project. At this time, we are not collecting donations for any apartments. HOWEVER, Habitate Restore is willing to take your donations, and they will schedule a pick up.

To learn more about Habitate Restoreand what can be donated, please click here. To coordinate a pickup and ask questions, please call (615) 942-1291. Hugh Harvey is also a good source of info.
Look for more info in the coming weeks about our next Home Together Nashville apartment.

Bee Watering Station
In the heat of summer, bees rely on water to regulate body temperature, dilute honey for larval food, and cool the hive through evaporation. We will make shallow watering stations shaped like a flower. The flowers are on sturdy stems, ready to be placed in your garden and your friends’ gardens.
As our most important pollinators, bees provide 1/3 of the food we eat. Step up to environmental responsibility and have fun creating it.
No pottery experience needed.
Fridays, July 17, 24, and 31
