Renowned chemist M.G. Finn was part of the team that created click chemistry, a chemical reaction now used in thousands of labs around the world. His is a story of human connection at the heart of this year’s Nobel Prize-winning science.
“He would rather win than breathe.” That was how a recruiting analyst once described Jose Alvarado as a high school basketball player. It was that drive to win that led him to Georgia Tech and an NBA career.
The Gold and White Honors are the Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s most prestigious awards. Eight honorees will be celebrated next week for their commitment and service to Georgia Tech.
