| After completing her second year of training as a Research Fellow at Yale University School of Public Health, Dr. Jaquetta Reeves has been awarded the 2024-2026 National Institute of Health (NIH) Loan Repayment Program award.
“My acceptance into the Research Education Institute of Diverse Scholars (REIDS) at Yale University School of Public Health significantly enhanced my ability to secure a prestigious National Institute of Health Loan Repayment Program (LRP) award for $100,000. The institute provided me with invaluable mentorship, rigorous training, and access to a network of accomplished scholars, all of which were instrumental in refining my research skills and grant-writing capabilities. This experience enhanced my comprehension of implementation science by integrating nursing, public health, and community-based participatory research. Additionally, it has equipped me with the confidence and expertise needed to successfully compete for and obtain the NIH LRP award,” said Dr. Reeves.
