Spring break is just around the corner. Whether your student is traveling or staying in Athens, encourage them to make plans that prioritize safety and well-being. Remind them to look out for friends, make thoughtful decisions and remember that what they choose to do should support the goals they've set for themselves this semester.
Students can also support one another through the Meal Bank Drive, happening through the end of this week, by donating unused meal swipes. Those looking to support from afar can contribute through the Cats' Cupboard Amazon wish list.
Thank you for the encouragement you continue to provide. As midterms and break approach, we’re proud of the work your students are doing and the community they help build every day.

If there is a facility issue in your student’s residence room or hall, please encourage your student to submit a work order to Facilities Management and Safety. To do this, they should select “Maintenance, Grounds, and Custodial Work Request,” choose their building, fill out their information, and provide a detailed description of the issue. For urgent problems like leaks, electrical issues, broken windows, access problems, mold, animals in the building, clogged plumbing, heating or cooling issues, or bodily fluids, they should call 740.593.2911 and notify their in-hall staff immediately.
