Dear Reader,
On June 6, 2026, the Mineta Transportation Institute (MTI) welcomed graduates, families, friends, sponsors, trustees, industry leaders, faculty, and staff to San José State University for the 34th Annual Banquet and Convocation Celebration.
Together, we celebrated the accomplishments of Lucas College and Graduate School of Business’ 2026 Master of Science in Transportation Management (MSTM) graduates, whose dedication, perseverance, and hard work brought them to this important milestone. The evening also recognized outstanding achievements across the transportation community, including scholarship recipients, Distinguished Student of the Year and Alumnus of the Year honorees, and the winners of the Garrett Morgan Sustainable Transportation Competition.
As the newest graduates join MTI's network of transportation leaders, they carry forward a legacy of service, innovation, and impact. Their future work will help shape how people connect to jobs, education, healthcare, and one another.
MTI extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us in celebrating the Class of 2026 and to our generous sponsors whose support makes this event, and our mission of developing future transportation leaders, possible. Thank you for helping us recognize the achievements of today's graduates and invest in the future of transportation.
