Lunch and Learn Series: MLK Celebration 2026 |
Join co-hosts of Tufts' Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration 2026 for a February Lunch and Learn series. Each session explores the 2026 theme, "Lifting Every Voice," through recorded clips and facilitated conversation. This event is open to all Tufts students, faculty, and staff. Lunch is provided at in-person events. The sessions are occurring on Monday, February 9, at the Medford/Somerville campus; Tuesday, February 10, at the Boston health sciences campus; Wednesday, February 11, at SMFA campus; and Thursday, February 12, virtually. Career Center Summer Internship Grant Information Session |
Are you looking for funding for your unpaid summer internship? Join us on Monday, February 9, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Barnum Hall Rabb Room 100 to learn everything you need to know to submit a successful application for the Career Center Internship Grant, which funds about 50 students annually for unpaid summer internships with a $4,500 stipend. Learn about the application process and get all your questions answered.

Tufts Community Union (TCU) Senate invites community members to attend the Tuition Transparency Town Hall on Tuesday, February 10, at 6 p.m. in Cabot Center ASEAN Auditorium. Join us for an opportunity to understand how tuition dollars are spent across major university priorities: academics, financial aid, student services, facilities, and administration. A panel of university leaders will address questions about what drives tuition increases, Tufts' approach to long-term financial planning, and how tuition revenue supports affordability initiatives and aid.

Public Health as Liberation is moderated by Dr. Vanessa N. Robinson on Wednesday, February 11, at 12 noon–1 p.m. at Jaharis Behrakis Auditorium, 150 Harrison Ave., Boston and via livestream. Lunch will be provided. This event is open to all Tufts students, faculty and staff.

| Biotech Speaker Series: Real-World Stories from Biotech Executives |
On Thursday, February 12, at 5:30 p.m., director and CEO of Cellarity Ted Myles will discuss his journey to becoming a seasoned biopharma leader. Throughout his career, Myles cultivated a track record for building clinical and commercial-stage companies. The Biotechnology Industry Series showcases different career paths through leading voices in the field. The talk will be at 5:30–6:30 p.m., followed by a reception with food and networking at 6:30–7:15 p.m. in the Joyce Cummings Center Lantern Room.

Multi-Channel Video Installation with Mary Ellen Strom |
Join the SMFA Faculty Workshop Series on Friday, February 13, at 2:30–4:30 p.m. at SMFA at Tufts Room B115. Learn to synchronize two- and three-channel video works using 4K BrightSign players, the same tools used in galleries and museums. You'll get hands-on practice with BrightSign authoring, formatting SD cards, setting up multi-channel equipment, editing/syncing timelines, and optimizing files for playback and display. This event is open to MFA, Post-Bacc, Senior Thesis students, and undergraduates with Video 1 experience.

EWeek 2026 Starts This Week
Engineers Week at Tufts starts with an early event on Tuesday, February 10, at 6–8:30 p.m.: Preparing for an Engineering Career in Industry: Hiring Process, Interviews, Salary Negotiations. EWeek is for everyone: all Tufts students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are welcome to celebrate. National Engineers Week 2026 officially takes place February 22–28, with events, networking opportunities, and more. Check out the full schedule.

- February 15 is the Major Declaration deadline for first-year Engineering students.

| Submit Your Art for "Interwoven: An Exhibition of Embodied Knowledge" |
Tisch Scholars are creating an immersive art gallery and sensory experience that reveals the embodied knowledge, shared epistemologies, and resistances that we find across our campus community. The gallery aims to broaden audience understanding of embodied knowledges and epistemologies that marginalized peoples have carried in their arts and culture and highlight the legacies of resistance through artistic practice present in our community. All are encouraged to submit by March 31.
