Tufts Student Life
Weather Advisory
January 28, 2022
Dear Student,
The weather forecast predicts significant snowfall for us tomorrow. I hope you will enjoy the snow following the storm, but while it passes take precautions and avoid travel as it is expected to be difficult to impossible and potentially dangerous. We encourage you to stay indoors as much as possible during the storm.
Whether you live on or off campus, stock up on your favorite food and snacks today so that you can ride out the storm in comfort. Students with Tufts Dining Plans may take additional food with them back to their rooms today and should look for messages on the Dining app. Beacon Street residents are advised to stock up on supplies today from the SMFA Cafe or to use RhinoBucks at Whole Foods over the weekend.
Students living in the Hyatt or isolating in the Mods will be getting additional information separately, and in the meantime may also take additional food with them from the dining centers. Check the shuttle app for the status of shuttle operations, as the weather may cause delays or suspensions in service.
Tisch Library announcements about hours will be posted on the Tisch home page.
More detailed information on weather-related closures and delays will be posted on the following websites:
With all best wishes,
