| IRBManager to Be Renamed to OneAegis
Effective Friday, June 9, IRBManager will be renamed to OneAegis. Two additional changes will also occur on that date:
1) The dashboard will be updated to a more modern layout, and
2) Emails generated from the system will now have a "From" field that reads "OneAegis on behalf of [user name]" and the return address will be listed as "no-reply@gvsu.oneaegis.com".
Current IRBManager URLs will automatically redirect to the new OneAegis URLs following the change and, except for the new-look dashboard, the functionality of the system will remain the same (including the submission forms).

Reminder About International Travel
Export control regulations are frequently changing and may apply to your planned international activities. Please email the Office of Research Compliance and Integrity at least 30 days prior to departure if you will be traveling internationally on behalf of GVSU and/or taking any GVSU equipment, such as a GVSU laptop. ORCI staff will review your planned activities and alert you of any potential export control concerns/restrictions.

Q: Am I required to complete a Conflict of Interest/Conflict of Commitment (COI/COC) Disclosure Form?
A: All "Investigators" on externally-sponsored funding applications and agreements administered by the GVSU Office of Sponsored Programs and the GVSU Technology Commercialization Office are required to submit a new COI/COC disclosure form at least annually, and within 30 days of any change. An "Investigator" is defined as "any person, regardless of title or position, who has independent responsibility for some aspect of the design, conduct, or reporting of research, scholarly, or educational activity." | OneAegis: Coming Soon!
The Office of Sponsored Programs continues to work toward the implementation of OneAegis, our new internal approval routing system for grants and contracts. The new system is very user-friendly and should make the submission process much easier. We anticipate OneAegis will be rolled out university-wide at the beginning of the new fiscal year – exact date and time to be announced soon. In the meantime, please contact your grants and contracts specialist with any questions about the transition or any of your grant and contract needs. The annual ConnectUR conference will provide a forum around undergraduate research where attendees can draw on knowledge exchange, scholarship of teaching and learning, group discussion, tangible and scalable practices, and community building to expand their efforts. This conference will focus on the areas of contributions to the practice of undergraduate research; structures and models for building and growing undergraduate research; diversity, equity, and inclusion; advocacy and partnership/collaboration and community; and assessment, accountability, and sustainability.
