This section features upcoming
dates and deadlines to best prepare you for your transition to NYU.
August 1. Last Day to Submit a Photo for your NYUCard.
Your NYU student ID, also known as your
NYUCard, is your sidekick on campus.
Submit your photo now to ensure your card is ready when you arrive to campus. The deadline to submit a photo is August 1. When your photo is approved, you'll get an email to let you know when and how to get your NYUCard.
August 1. Complete AlcoholEdu: Part One.
All new students must complete the “AlcoholEdu” course online — even those who are over 21 or do not drink alcohol. Everyone will benefit from a shared basic knowledge of the effects of alcohol, potential problems, ways to reduce risk, and resources to help ourselves and others. “AlcoholEdu” is presented in two parts. Failing to complete both parts will hinder your ability to register for future classes. Check your NYU email a few weeks before the deadline for an invitation to take the course, as well as the
health requirements and training access.
August 1. Complete Think About It.
In an effort to maintain a safe and aware campus community, all NYU students must complete the sexual misconduct prevention online training program called “Think About It.” Failing to complete this training will hinder your ability to enroll in future classes. Check your NYU email a few weeks before the deadline for an invitation to take the course.
August 2. Tuition Payment Due.
