Sheffield Pride Festival

Fri June 9, 3–9 p.m.
The Sheffield Pride Festival will take place in the Sheffield Farmers market parking lot next to Bakin' Bakery. There will be food and drink, a drag story hour, entertainment, a dance party, a raffle, and more! Bring your furry kids in their prideful outfits for the pet parade! There will be judges to assign superlatives and awards to your sweet pets. Check Sheffield Pride's social media feeds for any changes due to weather. More info

Opening Sat June 10
The Clark’s major summer exhibition debuts Saturday! The galleries open at 10 a.m., and Jay A. Clarke, exhibition curator and Rothman Family Curator at the Art Institute of Chicago, presents the opening lecture at 11 a.m. Learn about Edvard Munch, how the exhibition was developed, and explore how the artist animated nature. More info

Pamela Knowles

Sat June 10, 7:30 p.m.
The West Stockbridge Historical Society Jazz Series welcomes Pamela Knowles at Old Town Hall. Knowles has performed around the world, and her first two CDs, Love Dance and Boite de Jazz, have received rave reviews. She regularly performs and teaches voice in the Berkshires. Pam will be accompanied by Bob Albanese on piano, Michael O’Brien on bass, and Tim Horner on drums. More info

Circles

Sun June 11, 4 p.m.
Berkshire Children’s Chorus will hold its spring concert at The Common Room at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield. Admission is free; donations are greatly appreciated. Drawing inspiration from the simple geometric shape, the chorus will present a concert that explores various circles of life: Creation, the Cosmos, and Community. The performance will include singing and playing ukulele side-by-side with the Sheffield-based chorus. More info

Who is that we see outside of the Norman Rockwell Museum?! It's the big reveal: Come see Morton the Sea Monster and the opening of Tony Sarg: Genius at Play, the first comprehensive exhibition exploring the life, art, and adventures of the showman, illustrator, animator, puppeteer, designer, and entrepreneur who created the first "upside-down" puppets for the Macy's Parade. Festival: Open Heart

TurnPark Summer Festival: Open Heart is a day-long event filled with music, dance, performance art, immersive installations, wearable sculptures, bright costumes, meditation and rituals, festive food and drinks. The Stones

June 15–July 2
Great Barrington Public Theater's season opens with the American premiere of a contemporary gothic story by award-winning London playwright/director Kit Brookman. The Stones  features Ryan Winkles in the solo role, directed by actor-director-writer Michelle Joyner.
