Recent deeply troubling acts of anti-Black racism serve as an important reminder that we all have a responsibility to build equitable and inclusive communities.
As one of the most diverse business schools in North America, Schulich has a long tradition of actively encouraging and supporting inclusivity and diversity. But we know that more must be done.
With input from the Undergraduate Business Society and Graduate Business Council, we are announcing the formation of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group with representatives from our students, faculty, staff and alumni who will develop recommendations for concrete actions in five priority areas. Keeping the circle of giving going
For Sasha Krstic (IMBA ’03), President, Mastercard Canada, it all comes down to the golden rule - “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” While studying at Schulich, Sasha was able to pursue an IMBA degree benefitting from bursaries and scholarships. When Sasha’s career began to take off, it was natural for her to give back to her alma mater. As a monthly donor supporting student financial aid, Sasha is helping the next generation of business leaders focus on making the most of their Schulich experience rather than worrying about the cost of their education. “I think it’s important to give back because the strength of the Schulich experience is in making the most of the vast opportunities available while a student,” said Sasha.
