UPDATE: APPOINTMENTS
The Health Professions Advising team has resumed holding individual advising appointments.
Please note that our appointment policy has changed: Appointments will no longer be posted on Wednesdays for the next week. Instead, appointments will be posted every other Monday with availability for the following 2 weeks.
Susana Carranza will be meeting with first-years and sophomores and Amanda Stone will be meeting with juniors, seniors, and alums. Amanda will be giving priority to those students who are either in the current application cycle or thinking about applying in the upcoming '21-22 cycle.
Please do not schedule an appointment with Amanda at this time if you do not fall into these categories. Rest assured, individuals outside of these 2 groups will have the opportunity to schedule an individual appointment soon, but due to the time-sensitive nature of these appointments, we are prioritizing these groups.

VOLUNTEEER OPPORTUNITIES
The global pandemic changed how we interact with one another and how we approach volunteer opportunities. Many organizations have pivoted away from in-person volunteering, but that does not make the virtual opportunities any less valuable to your development as a prehealth student!
Take a look at our list of over 100+ volunteer opportunities in the area. We will be updating this list throughout the semester, so be sure to check back often!
Below is an organization that has openings and can help you develop several competencies!
Tufts Public Health Society is eager to collaborate with the Medford Senior Center to run a program called “Community Connections”. The hope of this
program is to create relationships which are mutually beneficial for both Tufts students and the Medford senior community alike, in addition to combatting sentiments of isolation.

Upon filling out this form, your name will be added to a list of fellow Tufts students who are passionate about combatting pandemic related social isolation.
To sign up or to learn more about the program, click here!

This is a rewarding opportunity for both parties. Beyond that, your participation in this caller program will highlight your ability to communicate and build community during a time of immense isolation.
We hope you can join us!
If you have any questions, please email
arielle.galinsky@tufts.edu.

A brief training session will take place Sunday, March 7th at 4 PM for all those who sign up. You are welcome to fill out the form even if you cannot make the meeting!
