House Band Rocks at Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA.

This past weekend we had a very special opportunity for our awesome House Band to rock out at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA!  It was a beautiful day but made even more so when we got to  hear our amazing House Band perform after so many months.  They sounded great and we all had a lot of fun.
Many thanks to the Workhouse Arts Center for allowing us to do an awesome show of rock n roll!  We're so glad our House Band was able to have a cool show and be able to play these songs live for an audience!

Speaking of Shows...Summer Season ROCKED!!!

Hard to believe it's only been a few weeks but we closed out our Summer Performance Program shows with a fantastic day of rock n' roll with our parking lot concert the first weekend in October.  We are super proud of these young musicians who brought their "A" game all season, followed all the safety precautions, DID NOT COMPLAIN, not even once, and then put on two amazing shows.  We can all take page from their grit and drive.  Thanks for a great season!

We're Rockin' Lessons & Groups Safely In Person

We have been sweating the details to ensure we are not only following the CDC guidelines but exceeding them in our school.  In addition to wearing masks, constant distinfecting and social distancing, we've got nifty clear barriers (pictured here) in our rooms that give us an added layer of protection.
So, if you are ready to get back to in person lessons, we're ready for ya!  For those who need to remain online, we've got you covered as well and will continue to offer online lessons and options.
Our in-person Groups include Rookies (age 6-7) Rock 101 (Ages 7-11) and Performance Program (Ages 11-18) and of course Adult Programs too. Please call for more information on these groups, as they are filling up quickly!
There is a lot more to our safety plan, so give us a call for more details. If you are considering in person programs and lessons call us on 301-589-7625.

Fall Shows are Off and Rockin'

Our ranks have swelled and once again the kids are all right!  The sweet sound of music during lrehearsals is filling our ears and hearts each day!  There a just a couple of slots left in our Fall Performance Program so if you are ready to rock in person, with all the safety protocols, let us know STAT!  Can't wait for these shows in the New Year!

What are Your Instructors Up to When They Aren't Teaching?

Why Staff Jam of course!  We thought it would be cool for you to know that after a day of inspiring you all to to ROCK, they meet up after hours and JAM.  Musicians beign muscians.  That's what we're about!  Musically they are also doing some cool things:

Thanksgiving Holiday Closure
We will be closed from November 26th - November 29th
Please call the school @ 301-589-7625 if you have any additional questions!

House Band Auditions

House Band auditions are being held as we pull together this newsletter.  For those who are not aware, House Band is our audition-only band of advanced students.  The goal of the band is to get our more serious students together with like minded musicians in a way that allows them to push their musicianship.  In a typical year, the House Band gigs out in local events and goes on tour in the summer.  Good luck to all who are stepping forward to try out - we will announce our new band shortly!
