The City has adopted new water rates for 2023. The modest 4%
increase will help offset the rapid price increases of materials
needed to maintain the City’s water infrastructure and ensure we can continue to clean and deliver safe drinking water for our community. 

This new rate was developed through extensive financial modeling and follows historic, mid-year water rate reductions that City Council approved in 2022. The 2023 water rate preserves the City’s vision for offering high-quality water at an affordable rate and saves the average resident $43.15 annually when compared to 2021.
