As Lutheran Hour Ministries wraps up its fiscal year, I want to share my thanks and appreciation for you. Your generosity has touched so many lives over the past year and for that we are sincerely thankful.
As we move into our new fiscal year, we can see that God is on the move... - We are expanding ministry in North Africa and the Middle East via original satellite programming that will allow us to reach into over 15 Arabic-speaking nations
- We are partnering with the Barna Group, the premier Christian research firm, to better understand those we are trying to reach and how best to reach them
- We are igniting open and honest communication with the non-churched about life and faith in the digital realm with the launch of THRED, our online community
- Nearly 1,000 people attended a 100th anniversary kickoff event in St. Louis to celebrate LHM’s past, present and future
- A new ministry center was launched in Laos
- 128 new radio stations began broadcasting The Lutheran Hour, increasing our weekly listenership by 100,000 people
We thank God for His guidance and blessings and we thank YOU for your prayers, support and action!
God continues to use LHM in great ways to grow HIS kingdom. . .
With the technology at our disposal today, I believe it is possible to reach the entire world with the love of Jesus. The time has come to truly challenge ourselves to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.
