2025 Iowa Girls State Swimming & Diving Ticketing Details
I would like to bring you up to speed on the ticketing process for the 2025 Iowa Girls' State Swimming & Diving Meet. This message provides advance notice on how ticketing will be handled next week.
Meet schedule (3 sessions)
• Thursday, November 13, 12:00 p.m. — State Swimming Preliminaries (Reserved Seating)
• Thursday, November 13, 3:30 p.m. — State Diving (General Admission)
• Friday, November 14, 12:00 p.m. — State Swimming Finals (Reserved Seating)
Ticketing overview
• Ticketing will be managed through Bound.
• Schools with qualifying swimmers will receive priority for tickets.
• Each state-qualifying swimmer (individual and/or relay) is allotted three (3) tickets per session for both Thursday prelims and Friday finals. Relay alternates (you get one alternate per qualifying relay team) count towards your total swimmers.
• State-qualifying divers do not count toward the ticket allotment, as their session is general admission.
• We will establish seating blocks so each team’s fans can sit in the same general area.
Example: Team A has seven total swimming qualifiers (no divers). They may purchase up to 21 tickets for Thursday’s prelims and up to 21 tickets for Friday’s finals.
Ticketing Passcodes (swimming sessions only)
If your team has swimming qualifiers, you will receive two passcodes on Monday, November 10:
1. One passcode for Thursday prelims
2. A separate passcode for Friday finals
Diving: No passcode is required; seating is on a general admission basis.
Important: Please complete your state-qualifier roster in Bound, save it as a PDF, and email it to jasoneslinger@ighsau.org by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9. Missing this deadline will delay the ticketing process and when tickets open for school purchase.
On-sale timeline (swimming prelims & finals)
• Schools (with passcodes): Tuesday, November 11, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Public (remaining reserved seats): Opens Wednesday, November 12, 10:00 a.m.
• The Thursday prelims and Friday finals will follow the same schedule above.
Schools that require more tickets than their allotted number: We understand that you may need additional tickets beyond your school's allocation. Please list the number of tickets you wish to purchase BEYOND your allotted number on your roster form in Bound. We will do our best to accommodate these requests.
Pricing & accessibility|
• $15 per session (plus fees). There are three total sessions.
• Your school’s passcode may be used by all participants’ families; please share it with your athletes’ parents/guardians.
