The FOMO is definitely real when everyone and their mother is jetting off to Europe this summer, whether it be St. Tropez, Ibiza, or Mykonos. However, coping methods do exist, including the opening of Grove Bay Hospitality Group's Bayshore Club in Miami's own Coconut Grove. Patrons can arrive by land or sea at this waterfront destination, making Biscayne Bay almost as happening as the ports of the Greek islands. On the subject of Greece, trendy downtown bistro Meraki has given way to a secret Athens-style wine bar known as Saloni, accessible via Meraki's bathroom hallway. And if your Mediterranean craving has yet to be satiated, spend the rest of the summer exploring these nine must-try restaurants.

Q&A
Q:
I just moved to Miami and don’t have any friends here yet. I want to go out to eat and explore the restaurant scene, but I feel awkward doing it alone. Is there anywhere I can go that’s popular with solo diners?
A:
We get it—eating alone at a restaurant can be a daunting task, although we certainly admire the brave souls who do so. Dining at these Miami restaurants makes going solo a little less scary; plus, you’ll be too focused on the food to care.
