Join this once-a-semester book club for APSU students, faculty, and staff. Community teachers and administrators are also welcome to participate. EduSphere Odyssey VR Night: 4 p.m., Nov. 18, Claxton 226

Experience a whole new way to teach and learn during this virtual reality night! Try a VR headset for yourself and learn how this technology can be implemented in the classroom. This event is free and open to the campus community.

This campus-wide workshop series is open to all students, faculty, and staff who want to leverage and celebrate differences in their professional and personal lives. Join us for "The Future is Now" panel featuring education students either in-person or virtually. Lunch provided. RSVP today.

She actively participates in numerous organizations, finding success and community while pursuing her degree at the Eriksson College of Education.

Austin Peay's Full Spectrum Learning opens sensory room for neurodivergent students

Austin Peay's Full Spectrum Learning program has opened a sensory room for neurodivergent students. The space in the Woodward Library features fidget toys, bean bags, and calming elements to help autistic students relax and focus. The initiative aims to create a more inclusive campus environment.

The new sensory room, the first of its kind at APSU, provides activities and items to help neurodivergent students relax and focus.

If you are interested in teaching non-native English speakers, we have designed programs with you in mind.
