Well, that was different.
The Vikings left Detroit deflated after a 31-9 pummeling by the Lions in the final game of the regular NFL season. Now they're heading into the playoffs as the No. 5 seed in the NFC.

This Week in Nature, feast your eyes on beautiful photos of pancake ice, shore 'cicles, ice shove and more. Learn a bit about how they’re formed and where to look for them as you explore the state this winter.

It turns out we weren't the only ones who noticed a deli's worth of frozen pepperoni peppered beneath one of the bridges in the channel connecting the two lakes. The folks over at Wedge Live saw it, too. (Although they had the good sense to post about it on Bluesky.)
If this is your pepperoni, drop me a line. I have so many questions.
