All of the Career Center staff wish you a wonderful holiday season, and we'll look forward to seeing you in January. Don't forget: We're open throughout the break, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, and you're welcome to schedule an in-person, phone, email or Skype appointment. (The University will be closed Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.) In the meantime, keep up the momentum on your career goals by doing some (or all!) of these things.

Schedule informational interviews with Tufts alumni & other contacts to learn about career paths and seek advice for applications.

Research Employers & Prepare Application Materials

Discover your favorite internship search site. Set up a saved search in Jumbo Jobs and receive an email when internships matching your interests are posted. Check LACN (Liberal Arts Career NetWORK) and engIN (engineering internships), and visit field-specific websites listed in Spotlight on Careers (un: spotlightaccess; pw: liberalarts2015) and Careers A-Z for even more positions.

Update your resume and upload it to Jumbo Jobs. Have your resume ready to submit to companies recruiting on campus, as well as other positions in Jumbo Jobs. Employers also search this database for potential candidates.

Identify several employers of interest and research them beyond their own websites. Our Explore Careers page has lots of tools to help you.

Apply for Funding for Your Unpaid Internship

The Career Center will award up to 50 Summer Internship Grants for otherwise non-paid internships. Attend an Internship Grant Info Session to learn all you need to know.
