The Mount's Holiday House Tours are a delightful walk through holiday traditions during Edith Wharton's time. And this year’s NightWood continues through January 1, from 5–8 p.m. The grounds are open through the winter during daytime hours. More info

Holiday Marketplace

An eagerly awaited tradition continues at Berkshire Botanical Garden with the Holiday Marketplace, featuring the Gallery of Wreaths. Select from a collection of 100 unique, one-of-a-kind designer wreaths, an assortment of holiday-blooming amaryllis and paperwhites in decorative and clay containers, and other gift items. There will be a children's craft table, live music, s'mores around a campfire, and more. More info

Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas

Stockbridge becomes a magical New England setting decorated with holiday wreaths and festive lights this weekend, as the town celebrates Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas. Sponsored by the Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce, the multi-day event offers a full range of holiday activities for the entire family. Take pleasure in the live performances, historic property tours, holiday markets, unique shops, and more. Capping off the weekend is a reenactment of Norman Rockwell's famous painting on Sunday. More info

The Nutcracker

Albany Berkshire Ballet will present its 48th annual tour of The Nutcracker this Saturday and Sunday at Berkshire Community College. The production features principal dancers from around the country accompanied by 150-200 local area students in its youth casts. The Nutcracker also will be performed Dec. 10 and 11 at The Egg in Albany, N.Y., and Dec. 17 at Springfield Symphony Hall, More info

Jolly Poker 5K Run & Restaurant Walk

Sat Dec 3
The 2nd Annual Jolly Poker Run and Poker Restaurant Walk will be held in downtown Lenox. The run starts at the Lenox Community Center at 10 a.m. and consists of either a 5K race or a two-mile walk to benefit Berkshire Bounty. The run includes a poker component with prizes for the best hands. That evening from 5:30–7:30, there's the Poker Restaurant Walk.
