Kinder Prep Class
We may be a small class, but we’re mighty!! I am so proud of how well Kinder Prep did in our Thanksgiving program! They enjoyed making Native American-inspired necklaces, which they all proudly wanted to wear for their performance. Throughout the week, we had some nice, heartfelt discussions about all the things we are thankful for in our lives. We also spent time on activities that were geared toward understanding rhyming words. Students were feeling especially inspired to construct things this week, with different building materials. Their all-time favorite are those materials with magnets! They also enjoyed the opportunity to weave and create shapes and designs with the bands and boards. Our letter/sound this week was C, and we reviewed some past letters/sounds. Our number for the week was 9, and we continued to explore and understand patterns. I hope you all have a wonderful week off, enjoying time together with family and friends. I am thankful for all of my students and their families. Happy Thanksgiving!
