The Smart Hospital hosted a workshop this summer with Reynolds Materials, a company that deals in silicon, rubbers, and ballistics to create different moulage. In simulation, those elements could come to life as suture pads, wounds, prosthetics, and much more. Attendees included members of the simulation staff and Master of Athletic Training staff. At the end of the workshop, each person was able to cast their own thumb. We are on our way to “thumbs uping” each semester!
