Pirate Tip of the Week: Do a Mid-Semester Reset đ§ â¨
|
Midterms and deadlines can stack up fastâthis is the perfect moment to pause and reset so the rest of the semester feels more manageable.
|
-
List your next 2 weeks of deadlines and highlight the most urgent ones
- Block short study sessions (25â30 minutes) instead of long cram times
- Reach out early to a professor, advisor, or tutor if you need to review
- Protect one small recharge habit this week (walk, music break, early bedtime)
|
Challenge of the Week đŻ
Pick one task youâve been avoiding and work on it for just 15 minutes today. Starting is often the hardest partâand momentum does the rest.

đś #PiratePlaylistâŻ
Please help us populate our #Pirate Playlist with your favorite fun, upbeat, and positive songs. You might hear your song played in Pirates Plaza (outside of the University Center). Don't be afraid to ask upperclassmen for help, they know what you're going through better than anyone else.Â
- Find your study routine and preferred location as soon as possible. What works for your friends may not work for you; utilize our beautiful campus and find where you study best! My personal favorite is the 2nd floor library! Â

CAS hosts a Major Exploration and Declaration Expo! For undergraduate students who want to explore new majors and declare a major/minor. We hope that through this event, students can connect with faculty and students from their intended major and learn more about their program and opportunities they can pursue. The event is March 12 from 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. in the University Center, Event Room.
|
â{My Professor} was inclusive, allowing everyone to participate and facilitate discussions. I enjoyed being a part of the class, and I learned a lot with the presentations made by the professor. I was confident in how my first semester at Seton Hall went because I had {them} to guide me and my classmates.â - SHU Student
|
- Â 91% of students indicated that University Life increased their knowledge of academic campus resources, including academic support, tutoring, advising, and counseling.
