Preparing for In-Person Work |
For the fall semester, we’re sharing resources to support supervisors who are guiding their teams through a transition to the in-person work standard.
Now available on our Telework website (hr.gatech.edu/telework) are:
|
Additionally, existing resources for navigating change and team building are also available for leaders.
As a reminder, all hybrid or remote telework agreement requests should be approved by Aug. 1. Please note that fully remote requests, especially those involving out-of-state work, will require approval from the CHRO. Detailed guidance on the approval process is available on the Georgia Tech HR Telework website.
Since launching the new telework request system in May, 184 requests have been submitted, with many still pending approval. If you have telework requests pending your review, please ensure you address these pending reviews no later than Monday, July 21. This will ensure that the requestor has as much lead time as possible before their prior agreement expires on July 31.
Acknowledging that staff have until July 31 to submit their telework request, Aug. 15 will be the target deadline for approving or denying all pending requests in the new ServiceNow system. Please plan accordingly.

ASPIRE Applications Close Soon |
|
|
Applications for the 2025 cohort of ASPIRE close soon, so don’t forget to encourage employees to apply! The program, one of Georgia Tech’s premiere leadership development initiatives, is for employees who do not yet have direct reports but would like to explore what it takes to be an effective people leader.
ASPIRE is also a co-learning experience between supervisors and the employee participant, so be prepared to share in the experience with employees who apply and are accepted. If you have an employee interested in people leadership, we encourage you to share this application link with them. Applications close July 25.
