NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Rhonda Towns (Dawn Records) has announced the release of the "Walking In Your Wonderful Light” official music video. Corresponding with the April 2021 single release, the long-awaited visual is an uplifting and inspiring complement to the tune.
Shot in Phoenix, Arizona at Telegraph Pass Trailhead, Ahwatukee, Foothills, the clip was produced by Brett Nelson and Marc Hamill under the direction of Towns (SFF Productions). Written by Teddy Hayes and produced by Billy Sherrill in collaboration with Towns, the song serves as a preview to the Christian, country and gospel music entertainer’s forthcoming six-track EP (WALKING IN YOUR WONDERFUL LIGHT) anticipated later this year.
Overseeing the video production and direction was an unprecedented experience for the recording artist.
“This was my first experience directing a film project. As a modeling talent and performer, I’m customarily in front of the camera on photo, commercial or video shoots.” Rhonda Towns said. “I think what I’ve learned from my previous experiences in front of the camera, combined with my instincts, enabled me insight and a vision to bring the clip to life—as I truly saw it. We shot for two and a half hours in heat more than 100 degrees. I’m very proud of all of the hard work and contributions of those involved, and the organic outcome. The words to this song ring true in my life, and they’re personal; I truly had to go within myself to perform and deliver with conviction.”

The new recording arrives after an eight-year hiatus as a stronger, more powerful representation of the artist’s spirituality, tenacity and drive.
